Corona death toll rises over 2000 per day in the United States

Washington – The intensity of the Coronavirus pandemic has increased in the United States. More than 2,000 deaths are being reported per day. Such a huge number of deaths have been reported for four successive days. Besides, 3,564 deaths were reported on Friday. In the last 24 hours, 879,877 new Coronavirus cases were reported from the United States. The John Hopkins University has reported this in the freshly shared information.

Moreover, the intensity of the Coronavirus pandemic is high in the United States even after two years. Since the beginning of the new year, the Coronavirus and Omicron cases have increased rapidly in the United States and European countries. The US agencies have issued a warning in this respect. The number of new cases and deaths due to Coronavirus is seen to increase dangerously three weeks later as well.

More than 2,000 deaths were reported for four successive days and the international media noted that every minute there is a death due to Coronavirus in the United States. The officials linked to the medical departments claimed this was a grave situation. A few days ago, US media already warned that the increasing spread of Coronavirus would hit the US industry and economy.

Nearly three weeks ago, Columbia University had issued a stern warning after the Coronavirus cases started increasing in the main US cities. It was said that the number of Coronavirus cases reported per week would cross 2.5 million. After witnessing the current trend in the increase in the number of new Coronavirus cases, concerns are being expressed that the warning issued by Columbia University may become a reality. The increase in the new cases in the United States is because of the Omicron strain of Coronavirus. It is claimed that the spread of the Omicron variant started last month in South Africa.

Meanwhile, more than 10,000 coronavirus cases were reported from Japan on Saturday. The Corona cases are increasing in China, the neighbour of Japan, and China has imposed strict lockdown in cities near the capital Beijing.
