China may collapse like Soviet Russia, warns Chinese Communist regime advisor Jia Qingguo

Beijing – Senior Chinese advisor Jia Qingguo issued a serious warning that if all the issues are connected to national security and pursued blindly, instead of thinking about the long-term security, China will also collapse like Soviet Russia. Last week, former Chinese Ambassador to the United States Cui Tiankai warned that the Wolf Warrior Diplomacy would cost China dearly. The subsequent warning issued by Qingguo only demonstrates the restlessness created in the Chinese political circles given the aggressive and incorrect policies of President Xi Jinping.

China, Soviet Russia, Chinese communist regime, Xi Jinping,Jia Qingguo is a member of the Standing Committee of the People’s Political Consultative Council, an advisory body to the Chinese communist regime. Qingguo is an expert on the US related policies and has served in many international think tanks as a research fellow. He has recently written an article in the bi-monthly magazine Journal of International Security Studies criticising the aggressive Chinese policies.

Moreover, Qingguo warned, ‘Ignoring the comparative nature of security and blind pursuit of national security could make a country insecure. There could be a dear cost attached to it and the country will not be able to ensure its true security.’ He also claimed that unlimited spending on defence would create an arms race and make all the countries insecure. He quoted the example of the Soviet Union in support of his claims.

Senior advisor Jia Qingguo warned, ‘The Soviet Union incurred huge expenditure on defence, ignoring the long-term security. Therefore, it could not achieve substantial economic progress. This made it difficult to make provisions for the defence expenditure for a while. The living conditions of the common people could not improve, and the government’s support weakened. These short-term gains ignoring long-term interests create anarchy and the regime collapses like the Soviet Union.’

In his article, Qingguo has lashed out at the aggressive and adamant policies being implemented during the Jinping regime, in strong words. He has also advised that if national security is to be ensured, the country should have more friends and very few enemies.
