Top IS leader killed in Taliban’s operation

Kabuli: Taliban has launched an operation against the IS in Afghanistan. Taliban announced eliminating Qari Fateh, a senior IS commander who had plans to attack foreign embassies and places of worship in Afghanistan. International analysts feel that this is Taliban’s message to the West.

The US and the West have accused the Taliban of supporting the IS organisation. Over the last few weeks, the Taliban has launched a campaign against the IS.

The Taliban is eliminating IS terrorists by raiding their sleeper cells, training bases and hideouts in Afghanistan. taliban-is-leader-2Last week, the Taliban killed an IS terrorist in an operation in the capital, Kabul and on Sunday, eliminated Qari Fateh, a senior IS commander.

Qari Fateh was responsible for attacks on foreign embassies, places of worship and other places in Afghanistan over the past few months. Therefore, by killing him, the Taliban delivered a blow to the IS. Analysts claim that the Taliban’s action responds to the US allegations.
