A few days ago, US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, warned the European countries of a Russia-Ukraine war. After that, British Defence Chief, Sir General Nick Carter, also had warned that the threat of a conflict between Russia and the western countries has increased for the first time since the cold war era. After that now, Ukraine is pointing at the aggressive Russian movements. Analysts are pointing out that these matters only demonstrate the growing unease in the western countries regarding Russia.

Immigrants are being pushed into Poland and other European countries from Belarus. Russia claims to have no hand in this matter. But European countries, including Poland, have consistently accused that Russian President Vladimir Putin is standing behind Alexander Lukashenko, the charge-de-affair in Belarus. The information published by the Russian media and analysts also points to the Russian connection behind the immigrant influx from Belarus.

The Ukrainian Minister pointed out that the increase in military deployments on the Ukrainian border, while the immigrant influx into the European countries is increasing, is not a mere coincidence. The immigrants are being used as a weapon. Misinformation also has become a weapon.

One must understand that the use of fuel as a weapon and massive military deployments are not independent developments. This is all part of the Russian policies to break the front, keeping Europe united and challenging Putin’s government.

NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg targeted Russia while responding to the statements made by Kuleba. The NATO chief warned that Russia should not indulge in the misadventure of any aggressive actions. Stoltenberg also pointed out to Russia that the NATO member countries are standing behind Ukraine.
