North Korea preparing for nuclear test – UN expresses serious concern -

United Nations: UN analysts have warned in their report that North Korea is testing nuclear-triggering devices. This preparation is necessary before any nuclear test. Therefore, North Korea may conduct a nuclear test soon, even though the location and time of North Korea’s nuclear test are difficult to predict as of now. Besides, the report mentions that North Korea has increased the number of bases necessary for nuclear testing. A few days ago, North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un threatened to use nuclear weapons against the United States, Japan and South Korea.

Moreover, North Korea has successfully continued its nuclear program circumventing the sanctions imposed by the US, European countries and the United Nations. North Korea is claimed to have at least 50 nuclear bombs. UN analysts claimed that over the past few years, North Korea has increased its production of nuclear bombs and even today, North Korea is trying to develop advanced nuclear bombs. As per the claims, North Korea has been stockpiling materials needed for nuclear testing in the northeastern region.

In June, a report released by the United Nations announced that North Korea had reached the final stage of nuclear testing. But UN observers said in a new report that North Korea has tested triggering devices necessary for a nuclear test in the past few weeks. UN observers are reminded that North Korea has made these preparations in the last six months. These observers have not given information about when and where North Korea will conduct this test. But the US and South Korean intelligence agencies said a few days ago that North Korea could conduct the test at the new base in Punggye-ri.

Earlier in 2006 and 2017, North Korea conducted nuclear tests in Pyongyang. But this time, it is claimed that North Korea has created a new base for nuclear testing. The media already published that North Korea would warn the United States and South Korea through this test. North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un has threatened the Biden administration in the United States and South Korean President Yoon Suk-Yeol with nuclear attacks.

Meanwhile, two days ago, US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi was visiting South Korea. This time, Pelosi visited the Demilitarized Zone-DMZ between the two Korean countries. North Korea criticized Pelosi’s visit. North Korea has accused Pelosi of being a violator of international peace.
