Israel PM Naftali Bennett on an unannounced visit to UAEThe free trade agreement was signed between Israel and UAE only last week. There were expeditious developments regarding the free trade agreement following the signing of the Abraham agreement between the two countries in 2020. But it is visible that the cooperation between the two countries will not be limited only to trade, and both the countries will establish strong military collaboration in the coming times.

As per information shared by the Israeli Prime Minister before the visit, he would be discussing the Iranian nuclear program with the UAE President. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has expressed concerns over the Iranian nuclear program. The IAEA claimed that Iran has shut down two CCTV cameras in its important atomic projects. Israeli media is pointing out that the Israeli Prime Minister proceeded on the UAE visit only after that.

The Israeli Prime Minister reached Dubai on Thursday and met UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah Bin Zayed. Thereafter, he will be holding talks with President Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. IAEA has acknowledged that Iran is progressing so rapidly in its nuclear program that it is on the path of soon becoming a nuclear state. Israel has already announced that it will not allow Iran to acquire nuclear capabilities under any circumstances. Israel is also openly saying it will garner cooperation from the Arab-Gulf countries against the Iranian nuclear program. The intensity of the Saudi and UAE opposition to the Iranian nuclear program is in the same category as Israel. Therefore, this unannounced visit of the Israeli Prime Minister to the UAE has become strategically very important. The focus of media around the globe, along with the Gulf, is on these developments.
