Dissatisfied with the Biden administration, leaders of Israel, Egypt, and UA

Tel Aviv: There is growing dissent among the US allies in the Middle East, especially Israel, Egypt, and United Arab Emirates (UAE), against the Biden administration due to the US policies regarding Iran. The heads of state of Israel, Egypt, and UAE had a secret meeting. Israeli media have claimed that leaders have come together to open a front against Iran and the possibility to include other middle eastern countries and Turkey was discussed.

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett went on an unannounced visit to Egypt. Prime Minister Bennett met the Egyptian President Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi. After that, even the UAE media informed about the visit of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Egypt. Therefore, the meeting between the heads of state of Israel, Egypt and UAE is being discussed within the media circles. None of the three governments had confirmed the reports of the joint meeting till Monday night. But on Tuesday morning, a Middle Eastern news agency published a photograph taken at Sharm Al-Sheikh of Prime Minister Bennett, President Sisi and Crown Prince Mohammed. After that, the media claimed that discussions regarding the Iranian nuclear deal and Ukraine war were held during the meeting.

Israel’s daily clarified the reason behind the meeting quoting a government official. The daily said that the three leaders are dissatisfied with the policies of US President Joe Biden. The daily claimed that the moves to sign the nuclear deal with Iran and the decision of the Biden administration to omit Iranian Revolutionary Guards from the list of terrorist organisations had annoyed Israel, Egypt, and UAE. Another Israeli daily claimed that it was agreed to form a front against Iran during this meeting, which poses a security threat to the middle east region.
