Jinping became more powerful than communist party founder Mao – Analysts claim

Beijing: Analysts have claimed that developments at the session of the ruling Communist Party held the last week show that Xi Jinping has become more powerful than the founder, Mao. Xi Haiming, a Mongolian analyst, warned that by appointing the people he wants to the Politburo, Xi Jinping has come before the Chinese people not as the head of the party but as an emperor and a dictator. Wen Zhigang claimed that the concept of collective leadership in the Communist Party has consequently died due to the decisions of Xi Jinping. The era of the former leaders of the Communist Party is over, and there is no one left who can hinder or control Xi Jinping. Wu Guoguang drew attention to the fact that this made Xi Jinping more powerful than Mao.

In this session, Xi Jinping succeeded in electing leaders loyal to him on two committees, which are the intermediate decision-making centres of the ruling communist party of China. The media and analysts had signalled attention that six members of the Standing Committee, the most powerful centre of the Party’s Politburo, were selected based on their loyalty to Xi Jinping. Additionally, all members of the Central Committee also favour Xi Jinping. Prime Minister Li Keqiang and Vice Premier Hu Chunhua, who could challenge Xi Jinping, were expelled from the Politburo.

These decisions by Xi Jinping have made him more powerful than Mao, the founder of the Communist Party. Xi Jinping, from now on, will have complete control over the leadership to be elected in the Communist Party. Analysts are pointing out that while doing this, they will not have any awe or be pressured by any former leaders. Moreover, Haiming said that Jinping can now arbitrarily. Their one-sided decisions show extremely lopsidedness. ‘Xi has emerged, naked, as Emperor Xi, as a dictator,’ warned Xi Haiming, an analyst from Germany. Haiming added, ‘Too many people in China are lining up to be his eunuchs, kowtowing to him, waiting for the emperor to ascend to the throne.’ Analysts have also expressed fear, ‘the state-owned economy will replace the market economy, and we will see an erosion of the private sector in every field under [Xi’s] common prosperity. The middle class will soon disappear altogether.’ Zhang Tao claimed that Xi Jinping’s era would be known as the Red Regime.
