Iran is pushing Israel toward a multi-theater conflagration, International Analysts warn

Jerusalem – Rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, followed by infiltration of drones and missile strikes from Syria’s border into Israel, have been challenging Israel’s security. Last week, Israel’s military responded to all these attacks. But international analysts have warned that Iran has been pushing Israel to a big wildfire by simultaneously launching attacks from Gaza Strip, Lebanon and Syria.

Last week, about 78 rockets struck Israel from the Gaza Strip and Lebanon borders. Although Hamas and Hezbollah jointly carried out these attacks, the possibility of Iran being behind it cannot be ruled out, Israeli media say. Besides, Iran has created a state of conflict near the two borders of Israel on these two fronts. Simultaneously, an anti-Israel conflict has been raised in the two Israeli cities of Judea and Samaria, and these two cities have been attacking Israeli civilians and soldiers.

Moreover, Israel has so far responded strongly to attacks from Gaza Strip and Lebanon. But Israel has been unable to stop the ongoing conflict within the country successfully. This way, Iran has lit a wildfire against Israel, simultaneously, on four fronts, pointed out a former senior military officer of Israel. But Iran’s anti-Israel action does not stop here. Last week, an Iranian drone that flew over Syrian territory infiltrated Israel, while two days ago, rockets hit Israel from Syria.

Israeli fighter jets have targeted locations in Syria. But therefore, Iran has simultaneously created a serious threat to Israel’s security in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria, as well as on the domestic front, international analysts have reminded. In addition, these analysts claimed that Iran had also isolated Israel in international politics.

Furthermore, noticeable information about Iran’s nuclear programme has been coming out for the past few days. The Biden administration has stepped up moves to reach an interim nuclear deal with Iran without giving a premonition to Israel and European allies. Under this, the American news agency had claimed that the Biden administration has been preparing to provide financial concessions by relaxing the sanctions on Iran. The Biden administration has not yet dismissed the news. Therefore, it was clear that the US had been firm on the nuclear deal with Iran.

At the same time, US Defense Chief General Mark Milley had indicated that the Biden administration had no objection even if Iran produced a nuclear bomb. Israel expressed its displeasure that the Biden administration has changed its stance on Iran over this. Simultaneously, Iran has taken steps to improve relations with Saudi Arabia. Iran has been making similar efforts to strengthen ties with the UAE and Bahrain, which have signed the Abraham Treaty with Israel. Therefore, these analysts warn that Iran was slowly pushing Israel towards a big wildfire.
