The business class in the capital Tehran participated in this. But Iranian analysts claim that these protests have intensified in Iran over the past three weeks and are a false signal. Besides, never before have there been such large-scale incidents of protesters carrying out deadly attacks against Iranian Revolutionary Guards soldiers.

But analysts point out that the ongoing protests have seen deadly attacks on the Revolutionary Guards, the Basij militia, and the Iranian police. There have been incidents of Iranian regime officials and preachers being chased away by school and college students. International analysts are pointing out that these students have thrown off their veils and cut their hair with slogans against Iran’s supreme religious leader, Imam Ali Khamenei.

Before this, protests were led by opposition leaders in Iran. But analysts claim that the current movement is leaderless. Analysts say this movement is getting a great response from Iran’s middle and upper classes. Therefore, the support of this anti-hijab movement from every group in Iran is becoming a challenge to the regime of Iran. Earlier, Iran’s security forces had taken action against the anti-hijab protestors.

But now, the centres of this movement are becoming the universities in different cities of Iran. Iran has started action against these universities due to the large number of young people participating in the protest. Human rights organisations have accused Iran’s security forces of taking over universities in different cities. The security forces of Iran are arresting those participating in this movement. Information is coming out that this includes bloggers on social media who are spreading the movement worldwide. The Iranian regime has also detained 35 journalists and photographers. A faction in the Iranian media is also claimed to be upset with the regime.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed that Iran pressured the girls’ families killed by the security forces to quell the protests. 16-year-old Nika Shakarmi died after falling from the roof of a building, according to Iranian security agencies. The same was also claimed by the security forces of Nika’s family. But Nika’s mother has participated in the protest and disclosed the information about the pressure put on her by the security apparatus of Iran. Therefore, the problems facing the Iranian regime have increased.
