Panaji: Indian Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu appealed to the International community to unite and take strong action against countries assisting and encouraging terrorism. The Vice-President was addressing the graduation ceremony at Goa University.
During his address at the graduation ceremony, Vice-President Naidu attacked the terrorist policies of Pakistan, without taking the name. Vice-President Naidu accused ‘Terrorism is an enemy of humanity. But our neighbouring country, instead of taking action against terrorists, is encouraging them.’ Vice-President Naidu also said that India feels from the bottom of its heart that it should be having cordial relations with all its neighbours.
A few days ago, the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) announced Pakistan’s inclusion in the grey list. The decision to keep Pakistan in the grey list was taken because of its failure to take credible action against terrorism. Talking in this respect, Vice-President Naidu appealed that the international community should unite to pressurise Pakistan, who is encouraging terrorism.
