Indian and Chinese soldiers were involved in a conflict in the Galwan Valley in August 2020. 20 Indian soldiers, including Colonel Santosh Babu, had been martyred in the conflict. But the Chinese military had to suffer much more losses in the conflict. But the arrogant country never accepted the losses. Instead, China is still yelling out claims that the Chinese military dominated the conflict. But in reality, the self-confidence of the Chinese soldiers has been shattered by the jolts delivered by the Indian military. Since then, China has become necessary to show that it is dominating the Galwan Valley region.

In the new year, China published a video and a photograph of the Galwan valley as a part of the same effort. But it has been exposed that the video and the photograph of the Chinese military were clicked in the region under Chinese control, but not at the site of the Galwan conflict. Indian journalists and analysts pointed out that the location of the Chinese flag hoisting was nearly 1.5 kilometres away from the site of the conflict. Anger was being expressed from India over the malicious Chinese campaign. But the Indian military gave a humiliating reply by publishing the photograph of an Indian soldier hoisting a flag in the Galwan Valley. This photograph was taken on the 1st of January in the Galwan Valley. 30 Indian soldiers are seen in the photograph welcoming the new year with the national flag.

It is being said that India has shot down the Chinese attempt to spread misinformation regarding the Galwan Valley. Especially, the Indians have scoffed at China on social media, resorting to fake campaigns.
