The Frederick Fleitz appointment as NSC Chief of Staff creates fresh controversy in the US

Third World WarWashington: Frederick Fleitz, who had claimed that the followers of Islam are scheming to take over the United States and that a conflict with them in the near future is inevitable, has been appointed as the Chief of Staff of the United States National Security Council (NSC). This is another controversial appointment by the Trump Administration after Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, National Security Advisor John Bolton and Director of CIA Gina Haspel. The liberals in the United States are expressing deep regrets about this.

Frederick Fleitz was a former analyst at CIA, the US intelligence agency. When John Bolton was the US Ambassador to the United Nations (UN), Fleitz was leading the team of US diplomats in the United Nations. He has worked as the Vice-President of the think-tank, the ‘Centre for Security Policy’ concerned with the United States security and foreign policies, for more than a decade. While working for the think-tank, Fleitz had emphatically presented some measures regarding the security and the possible threats to the United States.

Fleitz has frequently claimed that, ‘The Islamic people in the United States are preparing to take over this country. The Islamic groups are making systematic efforts for this purpose. They want to implement Sharia Law in the United States‘. Fleitz and his group ‘Centre for Security Policy’ have been claiming that ‘All this has been going on secretly and the Islamic groups have been working on this for a long time. For this reason, it is necessary to contain the political activities and bust the plot of these Islamic groups in time’.

Fleitz pointed out that “No Go Zones, prohibiting entry to people of religions other than Islam have become a reality in some countries of Europe. The Islamic people have almost created a parallel system in a country like the United Kingdom. While speaking after the bomb blast in London last year, Fleitz had raised questions about the position of the Islamic people in the United Kingdom. ‘The Islamic groups are not ready to merge with the British society. In the UK, the Islamic children are being taught to hate the United Kingdom. Also, there is a parallel Sharia system implemented in the British courts,’ blamed Fleitz.

A similar threat from the Islamic groups exists in the United States too, Fleitz had said and raised an alarm about it. ‘There is no perceived threat for the United States from any religious group other than the Islamic groups. But disregarding this threat to the United States from the extremists, I am being branded as an anti-Muslim’, Fleitz complained. Against this background, Fleitz’s appointment as Chief of Staff of the ‘National Security Council’ is being severely criticised by the liberals in the US.

‘Obamabomb’ back in discussion after Fleitz appointment

Frederich Fleitz had authored a book criticising the nuclear deal signed by the United States with Iran, during the Presidentship of Barak Obama. In the book titled, ‘Obamabomb: A Dangerous and Growing National Security Fraud’, Fleitz had warned about the possible threats to the United States because of the nuclear deal.

This nuclear deal gives a lot of concessions to Iran. He had demanded that this being dangerous, the President coming to power after Obama should nullify this deal on day one itself. Fleitz had welcomed the decision of President Donald Trump to exit from the nuclear deal with Iran.

After the appointment of Frederick Fleitz as the Chief of Staff of the ‘National Security Council’ (NSC), the media has been referring to the book, ‘Obamabomb: A Dangerous and Growing National Security Fraud’ and claims are being made that the book clearly shows his stance. Currently, Fleitz is said to be writing a book on improvements to the intelligence services and nuclear proliferation.
