Tel Aviv: The United States and Israel can make a ‘Deal’ with Russia, to stop the activities of Iran and Iran affiliated groups in Syria. An Arabian Daily in the United Kingdom, claimed that the United States and Israel would propose recognition to the Assad government in Syria, in exchange for stopping the Iranian military activities in Syria to Russia. Meanwhile, it is reported that even Russia is upset over the increasing Iranian military activities in Syria.

A special meeting of Russia, the United States and Israel, is being held at the end of this month, to discuss the Syrian conflict and the dangerous military activities of Iran and the Iran affiliated groups, in Syria. This meeting will be held at Jerusalem in Israel and the National Security Advisors (NSA) of all the three countries will be attending the meeting. This announcement was made by the White House, when US NSA Bolton was on his visit to the Gulf countries.

A lot of discussion is happening around the meeting between Bolton, Russian NSA Nikolai Patrushev, and Israel NSA Meir Ben-Shabat, in the Gulf media. The discussion in the meetingis expected to be centred around the Iranian military deployment, near the Israeli border. It is being revealed that Russia will be raising the issue of US military withdrawal, in the meeting. Russia will be making efforts to organise things and settle the Assad government in Syria.

But according to the information published by the Arabian newspaper, the United States and Israel will present a proposal to Russia. The future of the Iranian military in Syria, can be the main issue in the meeting. The newspaper quoting western diplomats claimed that this includes a demand made to Russia to cooperate with the United States and Israel, to stop the military activities of Iran and Iran affiliated groups in Syria. The United States and Israel will recognise the Assad government in Syria, in return. At the same time, will withdraw sanctions imposed against Syria and assist in rebuilding Syria.’

As per the newspaper, this meeting will be held against the background of the telephonic discussions between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. There is no difference of opinion between Russia and the United States over the security of Israel. Therefore, the newspaper claimed that Russia will accept the proposal made by the United States and Israel, to stop the Iranian military activities in Syria, which are a threat to Israel.

Meanwhile, the United States, Israel and Russia have not reacted on the news report. But it is decided that a meeting will be held between Bolton Patrushev and Al-Shabat, over the Syrian issues. It was already clear that Russia has become concerned over the threat created by the Iranian military activities, in Syria, to its military and trade interests, in Syria. Similar reports had also surfaced. Against this background, there is a high possibility of an important decision to be taken in the Jerusalem meeting of the NSA’sof the United States, Israel and Russia.
