Washington: The Coronavirus pandemic claimed 3,176 lives in the United States, in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of deaths in the United States to over 50,000. At the same time, it is being said that nearly 15,000 patients in various hospitals in the country are in a very critical condition.
Coronavirus has claimed 193,730 lives around the world and it is claimed that this number will cross 200,000 by the end of this week. The pandemic is playing havoc in the United States and a total number of 50,396 patients have died in the country. The total number of cases in the United States has reached near 900,000. Deaths reported in the United States are 20,861 from New York, 5,428 from New Jersey and 2,360 from Massachusetts. It is being said that there are piles of dead bodies, in some of the US cities.
In the last 24 hours, 616 deaths have been reported from the United Kingdom and the total number of deaths has reached 18,378. There are 143,000 Coronavirus cases in the United Kingdom. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump held a telephonic discussion with UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Prime Minister Johnson has returned home, a few days ago, after being cured of Coronavirus. President Trump said that Prime Minister Johnson was very enthusiastic during the discussion.
The number of deaths in France has reached 21,856. Since the last few days, Italy has not revealed any information regarding the pandemic. The Italian government has informed that the pandemic has been controlled in Italy. But it is unclear, as to why the Italian government is not revealing any information regarding the situation in Italy.
Meanwhile, the accusation has surfaced again that China is hiding the number of deaths in the country. A university from Hongkong has made this accusation and has claimed that the actual number of Coronavirus deaths in China, is more than four times that of the declared numbers. At the same time, the university has claimed that the number of cases is also in multiples of the numbers declared.
