Coronavirus deaths cross 200,000  

Washington: – The number of lives claimed by Coronavirus, on a rampage around the world since the last four months, crossed 200,000. 58,000 patients of the pandemic are reportedly still in a critical condition. 33% of the Coronavirus deaths have been reported from the United States. Whereas, 819,310 patients have been cured of the disease.

The number of Coronavirus deaths around the world reached 100,430. There are 2,867,984 Coronavirus cases in the world. 7,000 patients have died in the last 24 hours. Out of these more than 1,900 deaths have been reported from the United States and as reported by the John Hopkins University, 422 deaths were reported only from New York. There was an addition of 35,000 new cases in the United States.  

In the last 24 hours, 813 patients died in the United Kingdom and the number of deaths in the country has crossed 20,000. At the same time, the number of Coronavirus cases in the United Kingdom has reached near 150,000. John Hopkins University has inferred that the rate of spread and death in the United Kingdom, is much higher than the other European countries. Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who was out of action, due to Coronavirus infection, is expected to resume in the office from Monday.  

Meanwhile, the number of deaths in Africa has reached 1,352 and there are 30,422 Coronavirus cases in the African countries. A US group expressed concerns that the number of cases, in the African countries has increased by 43%, in one week. The group has said that spread of the pandemic in Africa, which lacks medical facilities, could spell a disaster, for the African countries.
