Civil war to spark soon in the US - University of California reports -

Washington: A report by the University of California warns that a civil war will spark in the United States in the next few years. More than 50% of the people interviewed during the survey conducted by this leading US University indicated a second civil war. Whereas, more than 22% of the people justified carrying and use of weapons during political functions. Researchers and analysts have warned that this report is a ‘Wake Up Call’ and the inference is worse than expected.

Moreover, US media, think tanks, analysts and former military officials have consistently pointed to the intensifying political polarisation and the conflicts and violence triggered by it. The violence perpetrated by the Black Lives Matter group, the Presidential elections held at the end of 2020, its result and the violence by Trump supporters in the US Congress on the 6th of January are the factors prompting the inference. The incumbent Biden administration has failed to reduce the polarisation and disputes. Instead, there are indications that the discontent in the US population is on the rise due to the faulty policies and decisions of the Biden administration.

A few days ago, a report by the Institute of Politics at Chicago warned that more than 25% of the population is prepared to take up arms against the government. The report also points out that nearly 50% feel that the Biden administration is corrupt and deceitful. Earlier, leading US investor Ray Dalio had pointed out that the country is treading the path toward civil war. He had warned that the current economic scenario and the intense disputes in the aspirations and values of the population are responsible for this.
