Cairo: The US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken commences his Middle East tour from Egypt. His visit to the region is significant given the Israel- Palestine conflict, ongoing Russia- Ukraine conflict and brewing tensions around Iran’s nuclear program. Just a few days back, CIA chief William Burns visited Egypt and Israel-Palestine. Following this, Anthony Blinken is expected to arrive in Egypt, meet with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and later visit Israel. 
Spokesperson of the US Department of State, Vedant Patel, said that US State Secretary Anthony Blinken would convey a message to stop the conflict between Israel and Palestine.
Two days ago, seven Jews were killed in an attack near a historic place of worship in Jerusalem. The Biden Administration expressed grief over this incident. However, the precise stance of the US on the terrorist attack will be clear during Blinken’s visit to Israel.
