Airstrikes on Syria's Aleppo airport – alleges Syrian official news channel -

In recent years, passenger airports and military sites in Syria have been targeted by airstrikes. The Syrian government, or sometimes government-affiliated agencies, directly blamed Israel for this. Syria blamed the Israeli warplanes for entering Syrian territory and carrying out airstrikes. Israel has not claimed responsibility for the attacks. But Iran’s efforts to smuggle weapons to Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations under the guise of the civil war in Syria will be thwarted. In such a situation, heavy airstrikes hit the international airport in Aleppo early Tuesday morning. The Syrian news channel said that there was no loss of life in this attack. Also, the Syrian news channel informed that Syria activated the air security system after this air attack.

Furthermore, the Syrian government has announced that Aleppo airport has been shut down for the next few days due to heavy damage in Tuesday’s airstrikes. The airport was used to deliver aid to earthquake victims in Syria. An earthquake shook Syria a month ago. Iran was one of the few countries that provided international aid to earthquake victims. But Israel accused Iran of supplying weapons to Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations on the pretext of earthquakes.
