Israel increases military deployment on Lebanon border after Hezbollah threat

The pressure on the Israel-Lebanon border is increasing since the last few days. Four days ago, a senior Hezbollah commander was killed in an explosion at an Iranian military base in Syria. Hezbollah held Israel responsible for the explosion and threatened Israel of dire consequences. Hezbollah had threatened that the Israel military locations would be on their target. Whereas, last week, Hezbollah held talks with Hamas in the Gaza Strip and appealed to all the extremist organisations to unite against Israel. Moreover, Israel is accusing that Hezbollah is preparing for an intrusion into Israel and collecting a large number of terrorists near the Israel border since the last few days for this intrusion attempt.

It is reported that he held talks even with Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff discussed the tension with Hezbollah and the Iranian nuclear program with the Israeli leaders. An Iranian leader has accused that the United States is making preparations to kill Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah after General Qasem Soleimani.
