4 people were killed in a suicide attack at the Bagram Airbase, the largest American military base in Afghanistan. Taliban has claimed responsibility for this blast of Saturday morning.

Bagram Airbase has always been the target of Al Qaeda and Taliban. Although American military has retreated from majority of the bases in Afghanistan, the military posting continues in Bagram.
A few hours back 7 people lost their lives in a blast caused by Taliban near the German Embassy in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif in northern Afghanistan. A week back 30 people were killed in an airstrike by by the United States. Taliban claimed to have avenged this by attacking the Bagram Airbase.
