Western Countries pressuring Austria, which has remained neutral over Russia-Ukraine Conflict

Vienna: Western countries have begun to pressure Austria, which has taken a neutral stance militarily in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Besides, an ‘OSCE’ group meeting has been organized in Austria towards the end of next week. Austria has decided to grant visas to 15 Russian leaders and officials for this meeting. However, representatives of 20 countries have opposed it.

European countries are providing huge financial and arms support to Ukraine. But countries like Hungary, Serbia and Austria have refused to adopt an extreme policy against Russia. Therefore, the United States and the West are making efforts to target these countries.

Furthermore, next week marks one year since the Russia-Ukraine conflict. At the same time, the meeting of ‘OSCE’ is also taking place. Western countries have started targeting Austria, using this as an excuse. But the Austrian government has not yet approved it.
