US Navy official opens fire at Pearl Harbour military base, Indian Air chief escapes unhurt

Hawaii: Three people were killed when a US Navy official opened fire at Pearl Harbour. Indian Air Chief Marshall RKS Bhadauria was present at the site of the incident when the attacks occurred. The Air Force chief is said to have narrowly escaped the attack. The Indian Air Force announced that the Air Force Chief was safe and secure.

Nearly forty countries are participating in the meeting with its delegations. Even Indian Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria is in Hawaii for participating in the discussion. However, a US naval sailor opened fire at the Pearl Harbour military base, killing three people. The attack reportedly took place at 2.30 pm, local time.

The reason behind the attack is still not known, and investigations are on. Nevertheless, reports reveal that the Indian Air Chief was in close vicinity of the shootout.

As per reports, it was a close shave for the Air Chief. The Indian Air Force has clarified that the Air Force chief was safe stating that further information regarding the incident would be revealed as and when received.

Later, information surfaced on the incident revealing that the US Naval soldier had killed two people in the shootout and then committed suicide by shooting himself. The sailor was posted on the USS Columbia, capable of carrying out attacks at a rapid pace.
