US, Europe and Japan announce sanctions against Russia  

sanctions against RussiaWashington/Brussels: – After Russia announced and recognised two separatist regions of Ukraine as independent countries, Western countries and Japan have imposed stringent sanctions against Russia. The United States imposed sanctions on two major Russian banks, their affiliated enterprises and three close associates of President Putin. At the same time, actions are being taken to prevent Russia from raising funds from international markets.

The European Union announced sanctions against 350 members of the Russian parliament. It is said that the list includes 27 Russian entrepreneurs and companies. Moreover, Japan has banned transactions in Russian bonds. At the same time, the Japanese government informed that the assets of certain Russian entrepreneurs had been frozen and an entry ban had been imposed against them. The United States and Europe have indicated that the sanctions against Russia will become more aggressive in the coming times.
