Moscow/Kyiv: While war is raging in many cities of Ukraine, including capital Kyiv, Ukraine has expressed willingness to negotiate with Russia. Accordingly, political representatives from Russia and Ukraine will be a part of the discussion on the Ukraine-Belarus Border. Before Ukraine agreed for discussion, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the Russian Nuclear Forces to be on alert. Before that, NATO had announced all the necessary assistance to Ukraine, while the United States and its allies had announced tough sanctions on Russia. After that, the Russian President has sent a clear message to everyone that if the war situation festers, it could culminate into a nuclear war.
After the capital Kyiv, Russia has turned its focus on the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv. The Russian and Ukrainian forces are engaged in a fierce battle. Ukrainian agencies are claiming that the capital Kyiv is still safe from Russia. Although the Ukrainian forces have succeeded in delivering jolts to the Russian military, the lack of coordination among the Ukrainian defence forces is visible. Under these circumstances, Ukraine will not sustain the Russian onslaught on its strength for a long time.
The United States and NATO have made some encouraging announcements for Ukraine in this situation. These include imposing harsh sanctions against Russia by the United States and its allies. 
At the same time, NATO has assured of providing diplomatic and operational levels of support to Ukraine for its fight for independence and sovereignty. At the same time, NATO announced that the Quick Response Force is being activated in European countries against Russia. After that, Russian President Putin has ordered its nuclear forces to be on alert.
The Russian President has given clear indications through this order that if NATO assists Ukraine, the war will get extended and could culminate into a nuclear war. Ukraine initially was averse to any negotiations with Russia but has agreed to dialogue and negotiations following these developments.
