The TTP attacks have killed Pakistani security forces personnel. Besides, Pak PM Imran Khan had appealed Taliban in Afghanistan to help stop the TTP attack. Initially, Taliban advised Pakistan to resolve this problem internally via discussion. However, in October, Taliban had mediated between TTP and Pakistan government and introduced a ceasefire.

The ceasefire was going to be implemented from November 9. Besides, the Pak government had promised to release over 100 TTP militants for the ceasefire. At the same time, the Pak government had also agreed to not step into TTP’s region. But, TTP Chief Noor Wali Mahsud said that Pak PM Imran Khan has not fulfilled the promises and expressed anger.

Furthermore, a TTP member criticised through a report that only 12 of the militants have been released so far. Besides, the Pak security agencies have acted in Dera Ismail Khan, Lakki Marwat, Swat Valley, Bajaur, Swabi, North Waziristan and killed the militants, mentions the report. These actions by the Pak army and the government violate the ceasefire. Thus, here onwards TTP militants can attack Pak army at whichever place, declared TTP Chief Mahsud.

Besides, the Imran Khan government is being criticised for risking national security. TTP has its dominion in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Waziristan, Bajaur and Dir. Earlier also, the TTP denied Pakistan’s democracy and threatened to spread its influence up to Peshawar. The Pak extremists had backed this announcement by the TTP.

Meanwhile, the TTP, which fell out of ceasefire may target Chinese projects alongside Pakistan security agency. A few months ago, TTP was known responsible for the attack on a bus carrying Chinese employees at Dasu. Consequently, the TTP may carry out such attacks in future as well and bring Pakistan to its knees. Thus, this could increase instability in Pakistan and the country will be drawn into complete chaos and anarchy. Besides, such a situation of nuclear-armed country Pakistan seems dangerous, not only for the neighbour countries but also for the global security. This is because TTP is known to have been eyeing Pakistan’s nuclear weapon for a long time.
