A few days ago, North Korea tested a long-range intercontinental ballistic missile. Korean and US media claimed that North Korea conducted this test to warn the newly elected South Korean President Yoon Seok-youl. Moreover, Youl is the leader of the strong nationalist party in South Korea and he had already announced establishing fresh military cooperation with the United States. Against this background, there is a possibility that North Korea conducted this test to reprimand the President-Elect.

Sung Kim, the senior official in the US state department, warned that North Korea is not going to stop at this and the Kim Jong Un regime in North Korea could test a nuclear weapon in the next week. North Korea may conduct the nuclear test on the birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung, the founder of the North Korean communist party and former President. After the nuclear test in 2017, Sung Kim said that North Korea may now pressurise the neighbouring countries by conducting a nuclear test.

While the United States is warning regarding the North Korean nuclear test a delegation of the foreign policy and security advisors of President-elect Yoon Seok-youl is on a visit to the United States. This delegation sent by Youl and met US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. Following this meeting, President-Elect Youl announced the fresh deployment of US nuclear bombers and submarines in South Korea. Only two days ago, Kim Yo-jong, sister of the North Korean President, threatened a nuclear strike on South Korea. Jong had claimed that the South Korean military would be annihilated in the attack. After that, President-elect Youl appealed to deploy nuclear bombers and submarines in South Korea.
