Saudi Prince warns Western countries, including the United States -

Prince Saud al-Shaalan, the grandson of Saudi Arabia’s founding King Abdulaziz Al Saud and cousin of Saudi Arabia’s current Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, released a video on social media. In the video in English and French, Prince Saud threatened the US without a direct mention. Prince Saud warned that Jihad would be called against those who challenged Saudi. Prince Saud has no official role in the Saudi royal family. Thus, the Saudi supporters claim that his statements are at a personal level.

But while the tension between the US and Saudi Arabia increases, the statements made by Prince Saud have been given importance by the US and British media. The OPEC Plus meeting decided to cut fuel production by two million barrels per day earlier this month. US President had warned Saudi Arabia of severe consequences accusing Saudi Arabia of taking this decision to increase cooperation with Russia. Biden had warned to reconsider the relationship with Saudi under this.

But the Biden administration, which warned of dire consequences, demanded them to postpone the fuel production cut for a month, revealed the Saudis. Against the background of the elections in the United States, the news that the Biden administration made this demand to Saudi Arabia was released. After that, Biden’s Democratic Party senators demanded that the arms aid to Saudi be stopped. After this role of the US, most of the OPEC Plus countries supported Saudi Arabia. In such a situation, Prince Saud al-Shaalan’s warning to the US becomes significant.

Meanwhile, the US media claimed that relations between the US and Saudi Arabia have been getting more worsened after the decision to cut fuel production. The US news channel says that the Biden administration has been trying to prevent US entrepreneurs from investing in Saudi Arabia.
