Two days ago, Turkish President Recep Erdogan held telephonic talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Both the leaders agreed to hold peace talks in the Antalya city of Turkey. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba participated in the talks.

European media and analysts claim that these talks that lasted for nearly 90 minutes failed to reach any conclusion. Lavrov had already clarified that Russia was firm on fulfilling its demands to stop the conflict. Whereas, Kuleba said that Russia has not assured to stop the attacks. The failed talks suggest that the Russia-Ukraine war will continue and there is a possibility that it will intensify further.
