Russia intensifies drone and missile attacks on Ukraine cities

RussiaMoscow/Kyiv – Monday’s attack on the bridge connecting Crimea and Russia seems to have proved costly for Ukraine. After this Ukrainian attack, Russia continues to launch missile and drone attacks on Ukraine’s capital Kyiv and other cities. Additionally, Russia has targeted the capital Kyiv and the city of Odesa in southern Ukraine. At the same time, the reports said Russia had to evacuate about 2,200 citizens due to the fierce fire in Crimea.

A major attack occurred on the bridge connecting Crimea and Russia on Monday. After this, Russia started a new spate of vigorous attacks on Ukraine. Thus, the Russian army seems to be targeting Ukraine’s capital Kyiv and other cities. The intensity of these Russian attacks is huge, and Ukrainian officials admit that countering them will be difficult. Moreover, the Russian missile and drone attacks are said to have caused heavy damage in Odesa, Ukraine. In addition, Russia has been prominently targeting infrastructure facilities in Ukraine. 

Besides, the Russian Defence Ministry has informed that Ukraine had lost 400 soldiers in the last few days at the Donetsk front.
Simultaneously, it has claimed that Russia has foiled 12 Ukrainian army attacks. While the intensity of Russian attacks increases, even Ukraine seems to be taking action on the Crimean land under Russian control. Russian agencies have evacuated about 2,200 people due to a fire that has flared up in Crimea. Thus, Russia also seems to be at a loss in this conflict.

Meanwhile, discussions have sparked which suggest that the US appears to be upset with Ukraine since it had assured gaining huge success in its counteroffensive but failed to achieve it. US’s topmost newspaper has released a report in this regard. At the same time, Ukraine has been complaining that it was not getting weaponry from the US and European countries as expected.
