It has been 13 days since the war broke out between Russia and Ukraine and the Russian attacks are intensifying with each passing day. Indications are that Russia will take over the Ukrainian capital Kyiv in the next few days. Considering this, the United States and NATO have started a huge supply of weapons to Ukraine. Airplanes carrying stocks of missiles and grenades are reaching Poland, the western neighbour of Ukraine, every day. A British website has said in its report that 17 airplanes are landing daily in the border regions of Ukraine.

Western countries supply anti-tank grenades and Javelin missiles along with rifles, armed vehicles, and drones. This stock of weapons is being landed in Ukraine through various routes. It is being said that the Russian forces have stopped their aggression in certain regions of Ukraine and the reason is said to be the stock of this massive weapon. Moves to supply fighter jets through Poland also are being made.

But Poland has refused to cooperate and has adopted a stand that it cannot be a direct party in the war. The weapons and other defence assistance is being supplied to Ukraine through Poland and Romania. Russia is aware of this and it has warned both these countries. Russia has warned that if Ukrainian neighbours increased the cooperation beyond a point, they also might be attacked. US and European officials are expressing fears that Russia can launch attacks on the weapons stocks in Poland using the weapon systems deployed in Belarus.
