Pakistan running a spiteful campaign against India in Bangladesh, expose Bangla journalists

Dhaka: – Spiteful agenda is being propagated in the Bangladeshi media, ‘Sheikh Mujibur Rehman, the founder of Bangladesh, was a Pakistani nationalist. But India took advantage of the political instability and discord created in Pakistan. This caused Bangladesh to separate from Pakistan.’ Prominent Bangladeshi journalist Sajid Yusuf Shah accused Pakistan of spreading hatred against India among the Bangladeshi people with such poisonous propaganda.

This is the 50th year of the formation of Bangladesh and it is being celebrated in India along with Bangladesh. At the same time, this year has been a time of national mourning in Pakistan. True that Pakistan lost the 1971 war. But the country has not given up efforts to turn this defeat into a victory. This is evidence of Pakistan’s toxic propaganda currently being carried out in Bangladesh. Sajid Yusuf Shah informed that Pakistan has been preparing for this since the last year.

Pak-Bangladesh Friendship Conference was held in Lahore on 9th November last year. For this, a special invitation was extended to the Bengalis of Pakistan. Pakistani leaders, military officials, the media, and even analysts have been referring to Mujibur Rehman, the founder of Bangladesh, as a traitor. At the same time, Mujibur Rehman is still accused in Pakistan of being an Indian agent. But at the Pak-Bangladesh Friendship Conference, the organisers claimed that Mujibur Rehman was a nationalist leader who loved Pakistan, avoiding criticism against Mujibur Rehman.

Mujibur Rehman did not want freedom from Pakistan and created Bangladesh. But during that time, India took advantage of the political differences between West and East Pakistan, and Bangladesh was formed. The conference blamed that rebel groups and the Indian military were responsible for the slaughter of Pakistan supporters in Bangladesh. It was the Indian army, which protected the Pakistani army officers and soldiers from the Bangladeshis. These Bangladeshis were outraged by the atrocities committed by the Pakistani army. Besides, this fact was ignored and fake information was imparted at the conference in Lahore.

After this conference, an attempt was made to show that Pakistan has a great love for Bangladesh. Sajid Yousuf Shah said that Pakistan has gone to the extent of claiming ‘Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina wants good relations with Pakistan. But the Indian agents in her cabinet are not allowing her to do it. Also, Pakistan and Bangladesh are leading Islamic countries and together, they can lead the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Islamic countries. Claims are being made on social media that Pakistan can assist Bangladesh to become a regional nuclear power, but India will never allow that. Sajid Shah added that some Bangladeshis are responding positively to the campaign, which is a cause for concern.

On 2nd January, Pakistan-Bangladesh, Friendship Conference is being organised at Lahore in Pakistan. Sajid Shah seems to have cautioned his countrymen regarding the Pakistani conspiracy on this occasion. Certain extremists from Bangladesh are still siding with Pakistan and they pose a major threat to Bangladesh. Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had accused only in the last month that the notorious Pakistani intelligence agency ISI was creating instability in Bangladesh. Against this background, the Bangladeshi journalist Sajid Shas seems to have exposed Pakistan. ISI has carried out dangerous conspiracies to ensure that Sheikh Hasina did not come into power in Bangladesh.

Moreover, ISI also had hatched conspiracies to overthrow the Sheikh Hasina government. After the conspiracies were foiled, Pakistan changed its tactics and started a vicious campaign against India. Although not much success is in sight for this campaign, India needs to be cautious about these Pakistani activities.
