Islamabad: – Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan made a significant accusation ‘The United States has always betrayed Pakistan. A conspiracy is being hatched to pull down his government only because Pakistan refused to cooperate with the United States in the Afghan war,’ Imran made an indirect accusation that the Pakistan military was trying for this. When this dispute has flared up in Pakistan, army chief General Bajwa declared that Pakistan has long-standing and excellent relations with the United States. Saying that Russia made a mistake attacking Ukraine, the Pakistan army Chief countered Imran Khan’s stand. Therefore, the open conflict between the Pakistan government and the military have been exposed.
Final voting on the no-confidence motion against the Imran Khan government will be held in the Pakistan parliament in the next few hours. Ministers, leaders, and the political parties that were a part of the government for the last three years have joined the opposition groups over the last week. Therefore, every media and journalist in Pakistan claims that the no-confidence motion will sail through in the Pakistan parliament. But Imran Khan is firm on his stand that he will not resign and has addressed his supporters through media and rallies for the last five days.
He has started claiming that an international conspiracy is being hatched to remove him from power. Imran Khan has also started accusing the Pakistan military as a part of the conspiracy. During an interview with a leading Pakistani news channel, Imran Khan said that the military had given three options to him. Imran Khan said that the options resigned as the Prime Minister, facing the no-confidence motion and fresh elections.
Meanwhile, criticism is rife that Imran Khan has put Pakistan’s future and himself in jeopardy by making accusations against the United States. In this scenario, while speaking at the Islamabad Security Dialogue, General Bajwa praised the relations with the United States on Friday. General Bajwa clarified that there are long-standing relations with the United States and they will continue to remain the same in the future. Therefore, it is exposed that the Pakistan military and Imran Khan are at loggerheads.
