Coronavirus deaths around the globe cross 300,000

Baltimore: Coronavirus pandemic, which is on a rampage in more than 200 countries around the globe, has claimed more than 300,000 lives. There are nearly 4.5 million cases of Coronavirus, and it is comforting to know that out of these, 1,682,924 patients have been cured. As per the information given by the John Hopkins University, the first six countries in the list of the total count of Coronavirus cases account for 72% of the cases, which include the United States, Spain, Russia, the United Kingdom, Italy, Brazil, France, Germany, Turkey and Iran.

John Hopkins University informed that in the last 24 hours, 5,314 patients died around the world, and 88,202 new cases were reported. Of these, 1,813 deaths were reported from the United States. More than 24,000 new cases were reported from the United States in the last 24 hours. The US agencies are claiming that the number of new cases is extremely high, as the number of tests conducted is in the range of 300 to 400 thousand.

In the last 24 hours, Coronavirus claimed 1,400 lives in Europe, and more than 22,000 new cases were reported. Of these, 428 deaths were reported from the United Kingdom, 217 from Spain, 206 from Italy and 83 were reported from France. At the same time, it is being claimed that the number of Coronavirus cases has increased in Italy and Spain. Fears of a second Coronavirus wave starting in Italy and Spain, followed by China and South Korea, are being expressed.

745 patients died in Brazil on Wednesday, thus, taking the total number of deaths to 13,276. More than 12,000 new cases were reported from Brazil, and the total number has reached 192,081. Deaths due to Coronavirus in Russia have reached 2,305, and there was an addition of 9,974 new cases reported, on Thursday. With this, the total number in Russia has crossed 250,000. In just five days, 50,000 new cases were reported from Russia.

Meanwhile, a new Coronavirus case was reported from China on Thursday. China has lost its credibility in view of hiding the information regarding the pandemic and therefore, no one in the world seems to be willing to believe the Chinese claims. Moreover, China has imposed lockdown in three cities, raising a suspicion that there are a large number of cases being reported in China.
