Israel is prepared to provide necessary security support to UAE: Israel President Isaac Herzog

Abu Dhabi/Jerusalem: – Israel President Isaac Herzog announced that Israel condemns any terror attacks posing a threat to the sovereignty of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). At the same time, Israel will provide all the required security support to the UAE. Israel President gave this assurance during his meeting with UAE Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed. The Israeli President added that this visit is a message for all the countries desirous of participating in the Abraham agreement.

Israeli President Herzog visited the UAE on Sunday and met UAE Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed. President Herzog and the UAE Crown Prince held discussions for nearly 2 hours. The Israeli agencies described the talks as pleasant. Israel President assured of providing necessary security support to the UAE. President Herzog, after the meeting, said that Israel and the UAE have come together to provide complete security to countries that want peace in the region.

The Israel President said that his visit to the UAE is significant to deliver a message to other countries that there still exists a choice for the sons and daughters of Abraham to live in peace and harmony for the benefit of humanity. UAE Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed welcomed this message delivered by the Israeli President. The UAE Crown Prince said that UAE and Israel are united against the extremists and terrorists, which are threatening the peace and stability of the region and that cooperation established between Israel and UAE is strengthening.

Although the Israeli and UAE heads of state did not explicitly mention any country, their message was targeted at Iran and its affiliated terrorist organisations. A few days ago, Houthi rebels from Yemen had launched drone and ballistic missile attacks on the UAE capital Abu Dhabi. Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett had a telephonic discussion with the UAE Crown Prince and condemned the attacks. Bennett announced that all the necessary support would be provided to UAE to counter such terrorist attacks. Prime Minister Bennett ordered the Israeli military to be ready for this purpose. Israeli and middle- eastern media are claiming that the Israeli President has delivered an important message to the world by visiting the UAE. There could be a possibility of major consequences of this soon.
