Israel increases scope of attacks in southern Lebanon after Hezbollah

Jerusalem: After targeting a Christian prayer place in Israel, Hezbollah fired rockets at Jewish cities in Israel on Thursday night. In just half an hour, Hezbollah launched continuous rocket attacks on six barracks at the Israeli border areas and three barracks of the Israeli armed forces. Meanwhile, Hezbollah also carried out drone attacks along with rocket attacks on Kiryat Shmona and Haifa city of Israel. After this, information came to light that Israeli defence forces had increased the scope of their action in South Lebanon. It has caused huge losses to Hezbollah. Meanwhile, the commander of Hezbollah is also claimed to have been killed.

Haifa, Acre, Kiryat Shmona, the Upper Galilee and other parts are being targeted by Hezbollah. However, keeping in mind the possibility of attacks by Hezbollah, Israel has started sending its citizens to safe places from the area close to the northern border. Due to this, it is being claimed that Hezbollah’s rockets are falling into the empty areas of the city. On Friday, Hezbollah fired rockets at a refugee camp located in the town of Dov in northern Israel. At the same time, a drone launched by Hezbollah from South Lebanon was shot down by the Israeli army.

In response, the Israeli Defense Forces provided information that they would carry out extensive attacks in southern Lebanon. Israel has launched artillery attacks on Ayta ash-Shab and the city of Ramyeh in south Lebanon. Israeli Defense Forces are saying that due to this, Hezbollah’s bases and hideouts will be destroyed. A few hours ago, a senior commander of Hezbollah was killed in Israeli attacks. After that, angry Hezbollah launched rocket attacks on Israel. At this time, the terrorist commander killed had not been identified.

Nevertheless, two other Hezbollah terrorists have been buried, along with the body of this commander, the Israeli media reported. An Iranian flag was placed on one of these bodies. For this reason, it is feared that the commander of Iran, not Hezbollah, may have been killed in Israel’s action.

Meanwhile, the number of people displaced in South Lebanon due to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah is being claimed to be quite large. Mainly, due to this conflict in Lebanon, Christians are being forced to flee from there, Lebanese media reported. A few hours ago, UK Foreign Minister David Cameron visited Lebanon and appealed to Israel and Hezbollah to stop the conflict.
