Iran to join the China-Pakistan-Russia front, indicates Iran`s leader

Islamabad : The equations seem to be changing after Donald Trump has taken over as the President of US, as indicated clearly by Iran which seems eager to join a Front partnered by Russia, China and Pakistan. The Chief of Iran’s Parliamentary Committee, Alaevdin Boroujerdi, who has been on a visit to Pakistan, clarified at a press conference about his Country’s role in the matter.

Alaevdin Boroujerdi who heads Iran’s Parliamentary Committee’s National Defense and External Policy Affairs had indepth discussions with Sartaj Aziz, Advisor to the President of Pakistan, and Pakistan’s National Security Advisor Nasser Janjua. After this, while at a press conference Boroujerdi gave indications of future plans. He made a reference that since Donald Trump has become the President of US, things are changing. Trump had declared that he would scrap the nuclear deal made by the Obama Government with Iran when he assumes the office of the President. If US scraps the deal, then Iran will move ahead with its nuclear project, he said.

Israel, too had taken a stand that under no circumstances will it allow Iran to be a nuclear power and will not hesitate to attack Iran. Hence considering all the possibilities, Iran has started making moves after President Trump came to power.

Pakistan and China have come together for developing Gwadar Port and the ‘CPEC‘ Project, and both these countries have expressed confidence that Russia too, would participate in these projects. Pakistan has said that Iran too seems keen to join the project.

It is spoken that the ‘Chabahar’ Port in Iran, which is being  developed by India is latter’s fitting reply to Gwadar Port. However, Chabahar Port is a complement to Gwadar Port, he expressed with confidence. Likewise, Boroujerdi also gave indications of Iran’s keenness to participate in ‘CPEC‘ projects.
