Tehran: Chief of Iranian Atomic Energy Organisation (IAEO) has announced that Iran owns all the necessary technology to manufacture an atom bomb. But Iran has no plans to produce one. Three weeks ago, Kamal Kharazi, senior advisor to Iranian supremo Ayatollah Khamenei, claimed that Iran has the necessary capabilities to produce a nuclear weapon. Kharazi had said that it is possible to enrich Uranium to the weapons-grade level required for an atom bomb. Meanwhile, Iran has issued this warning for the second time since the nuclear deal negotiations with the United States fell through.
Last week, Israel drew attention to the Iranian activities under the nuclear program. Israeli Defence Minister Benny Gantz criticised the Iranian nuclear program as taking a dangerous turn. The Israeli Defence Minister had issued a stern warning that Israel would carry out attacks on the Iranian nuclear projects and the sites linked to the Iranian nuclear projects. Mohammed Eslami, Chief of the Iranian atomic energy organisation, had replied to the Israeli accusations while speaking to a local news agency.
Eslami said that the Israeli accusation that Iran was becoming a nuclear state is false. Eslami also said that Iran has no plans to produce a nuclear weapon. 
But at the same time, Eslami announced that Iran was ready with all the necessary technology to produce an atom bomb. Iran announced last month that it could produce an atom bomb. Like Eslami, Kamal Kharazi, senior advisor to Iranian supremo Ayatollah Khamenei also announced that Iran possessed all the necessary technology and materials to produce the atom bomb.
The Biden administration in the United States has been negotiating a nuclear deal with Iran over the last year. It is claimed that the negotiations held in Vienna and Doha have been unsuccessful. Iran had accused that it is the United States that is not interested in signing the nuclear deal. Iran has warned twice in the last three weeks that it possesses the necessary technology and materials to produce an atom bomb.
