New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh delivered the message ‘The Indian Military should prepare itself for the future challenges to the security of the country. This includes non-conventional wars without any defined framework.’ While imparting this message at the meeting of military commanders, the Defence Minister expressed complete confidence in the preparedness of the country’s military.

While addressing the conference, the Defence Minister wholeheartedly praised the acquired capabilities and the preparedness of the Indian military. During the meeting, the military commanders reviewed the situations created near the China and Pakistan borders. The changing geopolitical equations following the Ukraine war were also noted during the conference.

Against this background, the Defence Minister appealed that the military should consider the possible future threats and be prepared to counter them. The future wars and security related challenges will not be within the traditional framework. The Defence Minister pointed out that the country may be faced even with a non-conventional war. Appealing to be prepared for the situation, the Defence Minister said that the military should develop its capabilities for these challenges.
