National Security Adviser Doval on US tour

Washington: India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval is on a visit to the US and held talks with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. Ajit Doval participated in a meeting on the US-India initiative on Critical and Emerging Technology (iCET). Doval also held talks with US Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo, the US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman, NASA Administrator Bill Nelson and Chairman of Defense Forces General Mark Milley. In addition, the security advisor also addressed the Business Forum of both countries.

National Security Adviser Doval on US tourMoreover, iCET was established between India and the US to cooperate on emerging new and advanced technologies. This initiative was started between the two countries after the talks held between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden in Tokyo, Japan, last year. Doval participated in the iCET conference organised in the US. At this conference, he asserted that India would be a reliable country for the global supply chain. Also, Doval expressed his belief at this time that India could greatly contribute to the supply chain related to technology at the global level.

While addressing the ‘U.S.-India Business Council’, Doval expressed hope that the goal and concept of cooperation between India and America should come true. Also, Doval has suggested that efforts should be made to achieve it at the scheduled time whenever collaboration would be possible.
