Chinese people allege Communist regime of destroying country’s image internationally, Japanese newspaper claims

Tokyo: – Last week, Chinese President Xi Jinping warned that any foreign power clashing with China would have to dash against the iron wall of 1.4 billion Chinese citizens. But displeasure is being expressed over this threat issued by the Chinese President to the neighbouring countries and the international community. The Chinese population is expressing concerns that the country’s image is being tarnished due to the functioning of the Chinese communist party. Moreover, the relations with the other countries are being spoilt. As per the Chinese population, the hiding of information regarding Coronavirus, Hongkong, Taiwan, military aggression in the South and the East China Sea is responsible for this. This has been exposed in the reactions got by a Japanese newspaper, from the Chinese population, following President Jinping’s speech.

Last week, the Chinese communist party completed 100 years of formation. Chinese communist party supremo and President Xi Jinping delivered an aggressive speech on this occasion. Jinping claimed that the communist party played a vital role in the development of China. At the same time, he threatened the neighbours and western countries over Hongkong, Taiwan and Xinjiang issues that have become a topic of criticism on the international level. A reaction was given regarding Taiwan during the speech.  

Whereas the Chinese citizens lashed out at the Chinese communist regime while talking to a Japanese newspaper. The Chinese citizens are expressing a clear opinion that the ‘Chinese communist party is not China.’ One of the citizens said that the information hidden by China regarding the Coronavirus pandemic became the most important factor in maligning the Chinese image. Whereas some other Chinese citizens expressed concerns, ‘The aggressive stand adopted by the Chinese communist party regarding Hongkong, Taiwan and the South China Sea is posing a serious threat to the security of the neighbouring countries.   

The accusations regarding the theft of intellectual property and trampling of human rights in Xinjiang are serious. A section of the Chinese population is warning that companies from Japan and many other countries will withdraw from China. Many of the multinational companies have already shifted their operations to countries like India, Bangladesh and Vietnam. Japan also has announced special schemes for the Japanese companies having factories in China.   

President Jinping had delivered a message to its diplomats to project the image of China as a caring and polite country. But the Coronavirus pandemic, laws in Hongkong, atrocities against Uyghurs, threats issued to Taiwan and expansionist activities in the South China Sea is spreading resentment against the Chinese government on the international level. A recent survey exposed that the Chinese image on the international level is negative and tainted.   

Meanwhile, the possibility was being predicted that Jinping, the supremo of the Chinese communist party will face opposition and challenges from within the party. Renowned analyst Gordon Chang had claimed that if it is exposed that China spread the Coronavirus pandemic, there will be a change of guard in China. In this scenario, it is being revealed that there is growing discontent in China against the increasing monopoly of Jinping and generally against the Chinese communist party.
