AI has the potential to develop as well as destroy the 21st century Modi

New Delhi: Artificial Intelligence, i.e. ‘AI’, can become the strongest development tool in the 21st century. Besides, ‘AI’ technology also has the potential to cause destruction in the 21st century. If this technology falls into the wrong hands or is used by terrorists, there will be an outcry in the entire world. For this reason, during the G20 Council, India took the initiative to ensure a global framework for the use of ‘AI’. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has indicated that it would not be right to waste more time to make this happen. The Prime Minister stated this while addressing the ‘Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI)’ summit organized in the Indian capital, New Delhi.

If the technology of AI falls into the hands of cybercriminals, data thieves and terrorists, the situation in the entire world can worsen. It may prove to be the biggest challenge to world security at present. To avoid such negative uses of AI, a strong framework must be created by uniting at the international level. Experts in this field must consider whether we can develop separate software to check the reliability of the information received through AI and review it. Experts need to consider whether a software watermark can be used to indicate that information obtained through ‘AI’ has not been authenticated. If this happens, its credibility will increase, and its dignity will also become clear when used, the Prime Minister suggested.

The Prime Minister also reminded that India had raised the demand for creating a ‘Global Framework’ for AI during the ‘G20’ Council to ensure the proper use of AI. AI is no longer just a technology; it has now become a global movement. The Prime Minister also highlighted that this technology has the potential to develop the world and provide equal opportunities to all.

India is becoming an important country for talent and new concepts related to ‘AI’. Indian youth are taking the initiative to do research in AI technology. It may be possible to discover missing information in the field of Vedic mathematics by using AI. Also, extinct languages can be developed through this technology, the Prime Minister said. The Prime Minister suggested that since there is vast knowledge in the Sanskrit language, experts should definitely pay attention to how this knowledge can be developed through AI.

With the development of AI, we are all entering a new era. Therefore, this technology can be used to make the future in the coming times. Hundreds of languages and dialects are spoken in India. With AI, providing information and facilities to the local people may be possible by using these languages as a medium. The central and state governments of the country should take the initiative to use this technology in government work effectively. The Prime Minister also expressed his belief that this technology has an amazing ability to connect people.
