US military must withdraw from Iraq before 31st December, warn Iran-backed terrorist groups in Iraq

Baghdad: – An Iran affiliated terrorist group threatened, ‘Although the United States has announced that the Iraq campaign will be ended by the end of this year, no relevant actions of the US military are visible. The US military should complete its withdrawal before 31st December, or else a conflict will be sparked against the US military.’ There is an atmosphere of uncertainty in Iraq and these Iran affiliated terrorist groups are threatening even the Iraqi government.

Four days ago, US Secretary of Defence, Lloyd Austin, visited. The Middle East During the visit, he met Iraqi Defence Minister Sadun Al-Jaburi. After that, the US defence headquarters, Pentagon, announced military withdrawal from Iraq. The US military campaign in Iraq will be ended by the end of this year. But even after this withdrawal, US military advisors will be stationed in Iraq for actions against IS. Pentagon announced that the exchange of confidential information would continue between the two countries. Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi welcomed the announcement. But the Iran affiliated terrorist group Hezbollah Al-Nujaba threatened the United States in clear words. Nasr al-Shammari, the group’s spokesman, threatened ‘In 2011, ten years before the United States got expelled from Afghanistan by Taliban, the Iraqi armed groups had expelled the United States from Iraq. Currently, the Iraqi groups are stronger and ready for a long-drawn conflict and to expel the intruding military out of the country.’   

At the same time, the leading Iran-affiliated terrorist groups accused that although the United States has announced to withdraw, it is not serious about the matter. The front of the Iran affiliated terrorist groups accused ‘Instead of initiating military withdrawal from Iraq. The United States has increased the deployment of personnel and military equipment in Iraq. The United States will forward reasons like continuing with the military deployment given the Iraqi prime minister’s request.’  

This front also threatened being attacked if the US soldiers were seen in Iraq after 31st December. Saeed Al-Shuhada Brigade, an Iran affiliated terrorist group from Iraq, incited that all the Iran affiliated groups should join the group in large numbers to launch attacks on the US military in the new year.  

The US military withdrawal from Iraq after Afghanistan has become a cause of grave concern on the international level. Claims are being made that, given the withdrawal, the United States is losing its influence. The adversaries of the United States are threatening the US partner and allied countries over this. The terrorist organisations also are warning the US allies not to rely on the United States.
