Unrest augments in Europe as Russia closes Nord Stream fuel Pipeline

Moscow/Berlin: Russia announced the closure of the ‘Nord Stream 1’ fuel pipeline supplying natural gas to European countries. Russia informed that the pipeline would remain closed for repairs and maintenance for 10 days from Monday. Last month itself, Russia reduced the gas supplied to Europe through this pipeline by 60%. At the same time, it was revealed that gas supply to France, Italy and Austria also had been curtailed.
