Three militants and a Lashkar commander encountered by Indian Security Force in Jammu and Kashmir   

Srinagar: In a skirmish between the Indian Security Force personnel and militants, three terrorists and commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba were slain. Lashkar commander Naseer was involved in the attack on CRPF this year. Six soldiers were martyred in this attack.

As per the information obtained by the security forces, the campaign against these militants was undertaken on Wednesday evening in Shopian district. They received information that the terrorists were hiding in Ganipora Kralgund region of Handwara district. Following this, the Jammu-Kashmir police, 32 RR unit of the army and united squad of the CRPF undertook this search campaign in the region. At the time, militants opened fire on the forces. Moreover, the soldiers befittingly retaliated to their attack. In this conflict, Lashkar Commander, Naseer-u-din Lone, and another terrorist was killed.    

This year, on 18 April, three CRPF soldiers were martyred after being attacked by the militants in Sopore region. Furthermore, on 4 May as well, the militants also attacked CRPF Jawans in Handwara. Naseer-u-din Lone was involved in this attack. Lone led the militant group that attacked the CRPF Jawans in Sopore and Handwara. Thus, the security force has declared of having slain Naseer successfully.    

Moreover, police informed that one terrorist was killed in a skirmish that happened between the militants and the security forces in Chitragam, Shopian. At the time, four China-made pistols and a grenade launcher were recovered from the site. Over the last few months, a great campaign has been undertaken against terrorist outfits and their active allies. The security force has intensified this campaign this year, and so far, it has killed 150 terrorists. This list includes several militant leaders. Hence, IPS officer Dilbagh Singh recently asserted that the terrorist outfits have no leadership left due to such extensive actions.
