South Korea & US push Korean Peninsula to brink of nuclear war

Seoul: North Korean government-affiliated think tank has warned that the growing aggression of the US and the puppet government of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol has been putting the entire Korean region on the brink of a nuclear war. These countries have made preparations to gain control over North Korea. Besides, the United States and South Korea have cooperated on the issue of a nuclear attack that will cause North Korea to suffer long-term consequences. However, present-day North Korea has the most powerful weapons necessary to punish US imperialists.

Korea had a major civil war 73 years ago, between 1950 and 1953. It created North Korea under the influence of the communist regime of China and created South Korea with the support of the United States and Western countries. A special event was held in Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea, to commemorate that civil war seven decades ago. They chanted slogans in retaliation for destroying the US and starting a war against the United States.

Moreover, the state-run mouthpiece claimed that more than 1.25 million North Koreans were at the event. Additionally, banners like ‘The entire US mainland is within our striking range’ and ‘Let’s eradicate US imperialist invaders’ were put up. North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un inspected the event. At that time, the think tank, ‘The Institute for American Studies’, associated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of North Korea (DPRK), targeted and threatened the US and South Korea.

Furthermore, the research group alleged that the US was encroaching upon the sovereignty and security of North Korea with its aggressive activities. However, the research group clarified that the North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un would never tolerate it. It also warned that the entire Korean region and Northeast Asia are on the brink of a nuclear war today due to the subversive activities of the US. Besides, North Korea’s think tank accused South Korean President Yeol’s government of dancing to the tunes of the United States, accusing the two countries of creating a state of war.

In addition, the research group warned that if a war breaks out in Korean territory because of such acts of the United States and South Korea, it will transform into a world war, leading to massive nuclear war worldwide and, most catastrophic and irreversible consequences. The government-affiliated group also announced that North Korea would continue to increase its weapons readiness against this aggression of the United States and South Korea. Moreover, North Korea has threatened the United States and South Korea with a nuclear attack for the second time in the past two weeks.

Meanwhile, a US nuclear submarine arrived at the port of Busan in South Korea last week. US media had claimed that the submarine, armed with Tomahawk missiles, has been challenging North Korea’s aggression. Simultaneously, North Korea has also alleged that the ongoing US military activities in South Korea have been increasing regional tension.
