Union Minister Sitharaman launched Single Nodal Agency (SNA) DashboardSNA Dashboard was one of the economic reforms under the Public Financial Management System (PFMS) initiated in 2021. The primary objective of the SNA dashboard is to monitor the transfer of funds to states and their utilisation towards Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS).

Sitharaman expressed confidence that the availability of information regarding funds transferred by the centre to the states, the funds allotted by the states to the districts, and the funds made available by the district administration to the villages will be a major success for the efforts to bring transparency in the functioning. Sitharaman expressed satisfaction saying that each rupee spent by the central government will be appropriately utilised.

In the coming times, the state governments will be utilising the SNA Dashboard for the central schemes in their states. Sitharaman pointed out that this will make it easier for the state governments and state agencies to access central funds.

Sitharaman expressed concern about the foreign investors withdrawing their investments from the country in the last eight months. However, Sitharaman informed that during the Coronavirus pandemic, the domestic retail investors had made huge investments, which helped the stock markets absorb the shocks.
