Saudi to cutdown fuel supplies to China

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia will be cutting down the fuel supplies to China. Saudi fuel company ARAMCO announced it. The ARAMCO officials clarified that there would be no change in the quantities supplied to India, Japan, South Korea and Thailand. Western countries have imposed harsh sanctions against Russia, given the invasion of Ukraine. During this period, China purchased huge quantities of Russian fuels at discounted rates. Saudi company ARAMCO displeased with the development has announced that the fuel supplies to China will be cut down from July.

Saudi to cutdown fuel supplies to ChinaUS news agency Bloomberg said that this supply would be less than the Chinese companies’ demand. As per the US news agency, this could hit the China-Saudi fuel cooperation. The news agency claimed that this decision of the Saudi company would benefit other Asian countries. In its report, Bloomberg said Saudi would be able to supply fuels more than the demand in India, Japan, South Korea and Thailand.
