Russia-Iran cooperation posing a threat to US allies William Burns

William Burns, head of the main US intelligence agency ‘CIA’, blamed Iran anew while talking to a local news channel. ‘The direct effects of military cooperation between Russia and Iran are visible in the battlefield of Ukraine. If this cooperation continues like this, it may dangerously impact the security of US allies in the Middle East in the future than Ukraine,’ Burns warned.

Furthermore, Burns said that the United States is taking this cooperation between Russia and Iran very seriously. The head of the CIA has warned Saudi Arabia and the UAE, which have established a partnership with Russia, excluding the United States. There are indications that Burns made these statements specifically aimed at Benjamin Netanyahu, who will soon take over the reins of Israel.

Furthermore, Israel’s former ambassador to Russia, Arkady Mil-Man, also warned in an interview with a local Israeli news channel that Iran-Russia cooperation would threaten Israel’s security. ‘Iran has supplied drones to Russia and set up an independent drone manufacturing project, so this cooperation is not dangerous. If Russia cooperates with Iran’s nuclear program, it will be more dangerous for Israel’s security,’ Mil-Man claimed.

Meanwhile, CIA chief Burns and former Israeli ambassador Mil-Mann issued almost identical warnings within hours of each other. Netanyahu has made his position clear even before he was sworn in as prime minister.

Netanyahu appealed Russia-Ukraine to stop this conflict through talks. Netanyahu has also clarified that he will not take anyone’s side in this conflict.
