Pakistan should change the Line of Control, scrapping Tashkent, Shimla and Lahore agreements, incites separatist leader Gilani

Srinagar: Separatist leader Sayyad Ali Shah Gilani has demanded that Pakistan should change the Line of Control, scrapping Tashkent, Shimla and Lahore agreements. Gilani is the leader of the central organisation of all the separatist organisations in Kashmir. In other words, Gilani is giving a message to Pakistan to start a war against India. The extremist leaders in Pakistan also are making a similar demand from Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and are pressuring him regarding this.

India has withdrawn the special status awarded to Jammu-Kashmir by deleting the article 370. Jammu-Kashmir has come under the direct control of the Union government after being made a union territory. The effects of the changes in the administrative systems are already visible making the pro-Pakistan separatist leaders panic, along with the terrorists. These include 92 years old Sayyad Ali Shah Gilani. These people have still not stopped the activities to challenge the integrity of India. This is the reason why Gilani delivered this message to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Pakistan should change the Line of Control, scrapping Tashkent, Shimla and Lahore agreements, incites separatist leader GilaniBefore this, Gilani had demanded that Pakistan should scrap the Tashkent, Shimla and Lahore agreements and severe all the ties with India. Moreover, Gilani had stated that the situation in Kashmir has become similar to 1947 after withdrawal of the article 370 and therefore, he had demanded that Pakistan should redraw the Line of Control. Gilani is advising Pakistan to acquire a larger chunk of Kashmir, in different words. This is not possible without a war. Therefore, it is clear that Gilani is giving a message to Pakistan- to start a war against India.

Gilani made an emotional appeal saying that this could be my last message. Gilani attempted to draw the attention of the Pakistani people saying that he was very old and his health status also was unstable. But Gilani conveniently forgot that if Pakistan had the ability to do this, it would have done it long back. The extremist in Pakistan, hating India, also seem to have forgotten this. Therefore, these extremists are demanding that the Pakistan military should straightway cross the Line of Control and attack India. The extremists say that the Pakistan military is capable, but the Imran Khan government is not willing to do so and therefore, the Pakistan military is helpless.

There are accusations that the Pakistan military was responsible for Imran Khan becoming the Prime Minister. In such a scenario, the claim of the extremists that the Pakistan military is not fighting against India because of the Prime Minister is laughable. Still, Pakistan is involved in a hidden war with India by pushing terrorists into the Indian territory.
